Since 1937, Gertrude Herbert Institute of Art members and patrons have been part of a legacy of unprecedented community support. These generous contributions fuel the Institute’s cutting-edge contemporary exhibitions, professional studio art classes, innovative art outreach programs, lectures, workshops, teacher development programs, free community events, and more.

GHIA is an independent, nonprofit organization that is supported primarily through private gifts, corporate and foundation support, and special events. Memberships, donations, and sponsorships from individuals and businesses enable the Institute to maintain its high level of programming, free admission, and outreach to all members of the community.

The generous support of benefactors allows the Gertrude Herbert Institute of Art to continue its tradition of offering lifelong learning through the visual arts to an increasing number of visitors each year. There are many ways to make a tax-deductible donation to the Institute and a variety of areas to which you may consider directing your gift.

Your financial contribution helps us unleash imaginations, nurture creativity, and connect all people of all ages through art. We hope you will join us in support of the Gertrude Herbert. For more information about supporting GHIA, contact the Institute at 706-722-5495.
